Sand the bleach mark using 100 grit sandpaper. Let it sit for 30 to 40 seconds and then wipe it off with a soft clean cloth.

Apply the bleach solution and let stand for. Rub the bleach mark with a cloth and rubbing alcohol to clean it. Remember bleach should never be used full strength for cleaning any surface it should always be diluted with water first. For disinfecting countertops use a solution of 1 2 cup clorox regular bleach 2 per gallon of water.

Bleach damages marble as well as ammonia also lemon or orange based cleaners and other common or generic household cleaners. The best thing about granite countertops or tiles is the cleaning and polishing process. Use a product designed for cleaning granite countertops. Bleach can be used to clean granite but if the corrosive liquid is allowed to sit too long on the material it can eat through the protective layer of sealant.

This marble polishing product is easy to use rub on spot and will restore the color and shine. Also refrain from using harsh chemicals acidic cleaners such as vinegar and abrasive cleaners. Allow the countertop to dry. Use the corner of the sandpaper to spot sand only.
